Chapter 15 Ancillary and Foreign Insolvency Proceedings:

Assignments for the Benefit of Creditors (ABC’s):
The Firm assists assignees, secured and unsecured creditors and other parties in interest, including asset purchasers, in all facets of assignment for the benefit of creditor proceedings. ABC Proceedings are similar to chapter 7 bankruptcy liquidations but instead are filed in state court pursuant to Florida Statutes chapter 727. In an ABC, the debtor assigns its assets to assignee who liquidates the assets for the benefit of the debtor’s creditors. |
